Customizing Feature Applications
Create Hot Desk Stations
Hot Desk stations do not need to be associated with any hardware.
1. Using eManager, click
Advanced Configuration
> System > Card
Assignment. Assign the
Equipment Numbers
(cards to slots).

2. Create stations that can
be used for Hot Desk
extensions. Click
Advanced Configuration
> Station >
Assignments. Enter the
PDN Equipment
number, then click Create button to enter a range of stations. Example: 4001-4007. Click OK.
3. Create mail boxes. Click Advanced Configuration > Voice Mail. Click Create UA button. Enter
the range and COS, then click OK.
4. Assign the Hot Desk application to each Hot desk station-mailbox pair. Go to Advanced
Configuration > Configuration. Click Add. The Web Page Dialog box to add the FeatureFlex
application displays (shown below).
5. Highlight Hot Desk > Extension > User Agent. Click Add.
6. Select the Feature Key Name/Application No. from the drop-down menu. This will map to an
application location in Key Map configurations. This can only be done in this screen.
