Introduction

Congratulations on choosing the PM800 Pro(v2.0) mainboard !These are based on the VIA® PM800
Northbridge chipset and the VIA® VT8237 Southbridge chipset. It supports Intel® Pentium® 4
(Willamette/ Northwood/ Prescott) Processors with a FSB (Front Side Bus) frequency of 400/ 533/ 800
MHz.
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) provide 2 DIMM sockets using 184 pin DDR SDRAM with a total capacity of up to
2GB. You can install unbuffered & non-ECC DDR400/ 333/ 266 (PC3200/ 2700/ 2100) DDR SDRAM.
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) provide one 8X/ 4X (AGP 3.0/ 1.5V or 0.8V ) AGP slot.
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) include built in IDE facilities that support Ultra DMA ATA 66/100/133 and PIO
Modes. It also includes built in Serial ATA facilities that support SATA RAID 0 or RAID 1 and transfer rate
to 150 MB/s per channel.
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) also come with a AC'97 Sound Codec which supports high quality 6 channel audio
(Super 5.1 Channel Audio Effect). It also supports Sony/ Philips Digital Interface (Optional).
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) also comes with a LAN PHY chip (VIA VT6103L)) and provides a back panel LAN
port capable of 1/ 10/ 100 Mbit/s transmission speeds.
The PM800 Pro(V2.0) support eight USB 2.0 ports and also include an infrared header.
