Starting Adaptec Storage Manager on Remote Systems

On systems running Windows, the Adaptec Storage Manager Agent starts automatically when
the system is powered on.
To verify that the Agent is running:

Open the Windows Control Panel.

Double-click Administrative Tools, then double-click Services.

In the list of services, check that the Adaptec Storage Manager Agent is installed and
running. If it's not, you can choose to restart it.
Linux or VMware
On systems running Linux or VMware, the Adaptec Storage Manager Agent starts
automatically when the system is powered on.
To verify that the Agent is running:

Open a shell window.
