Changing the Power Saving Mode

This function enables you to reduce the power consumed by
the LCD monitor and increase the life of the battery.

Changing the File Numbering System

This function enables you to set whether sequential numbers
are automatically assigned to files.
G When sequential numbering is ON
Files are assigned the names R0010001 – R9999999.
The camera remembers the last file name assigned and even
when a new memory card is inserted, numbers are assigned in
sequence to subsequent files.
If the card contains a number that is larger than the last file
name remembered by the camera, however, the numbers will
be assigned from the last number on the card.
• Sequential file names will be assigned even when a different
memory card is inserted. There is no duplication of file
names.
