Using the Remote Control
The DR-4 remote control unit (optional) can be used to play
back and delete recorded files. The following settings are
required.
Important
• The remote control reception is located on the front of the RICOH
BASE. Operate the remote control unit by aiming it at the receptor.
• You cannot record the images with the remote control unit.

Check that the camera is turned off.

Connect the AV cable to the DIGITAL
(AV/USB) terminal on the RICOH BASE.

Connect the other end of the AV cable to
the VIDEO-IN terminal and AUDIO-IN
terminal on the TV.

Connect the AC adapter.
When playing back files on a TV, supply power from a
household electrical outlet using the AC adapter. See
"Using the AC Adapter" (p.24).

Place the camera on the RICOH BASE
and press the START key on the RICOH
BASE.

Play back files.

Note
• Refer to the manual supplied
with the remote control unit
for instructions on how to
change the battery, clean the
unit, etc.
Important
• Do not place the camera on
the RICOH BASE with the
AC adapter converter still
attached.
