Press the shutter release button.
Red-eye reduction display
When you press the shutter release button, the pre-
flash will fire several time in succession before the
main flash fires and the shutter is released.
Important
• The shutter takes about 1 second to release after the shutter
button is pressed. Hold the camera steady during this time.
Time Exposure Mode
You can change the exposure time (1sec, 2sec, 4sec) in time
exposure mode. The shutter stays open for the set time,
enabling you to take a trail, such as fireworks or moving cars in
the dark.
