Trunk Type

After Reset, the Trunk type has to be selected. Default when PRI is programmed is T1.
1. From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3. Select "System Programming".
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select "System".
5. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Trunk Type" is displayed.
6. Select the required option.
7. The default is that T1 (PRI). A solid diamond indicates the option selected.
A reset will automatically be done after changing from one option to another.
E1 PRI Programming
There are some settings which are specific to E11 PRI (ISDN) lines

E1 PRI INTERFACE

If E1 PRI is programmed the default settings are as follows:
Number of channels 23,
CRC4 set to ON.
E1 PRI Channel Programming
To change the Number of Channels options:
•
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
•
Select "System Programming".
•
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "PRI Programming" is displayed.
•
Select the "Number of Channels" option.
•
Enter the number of channels supplied by your PRI service provider.
•
Select "Exit".
To change the CRC4 settings:
•
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
•
Select "System Programming".
•
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "PRI Programming" is displayed.
•
Select the "CRC4" option
•
Select "CRC4 On" or "CRC4 Off" (your PRI provider should give you this information).
•
Select "Exit".
