Make sure the ZIF socket lock for the empty processor slot on the system board is unlocked
by turning the cam counterclockwise 180 degrees with the processor installation tool.
If the socket lock does not turn, the socket is open and ready for the processor to be installed.
Figure 16
shows the ZIF socket lock for processor 1 in the unlocked position.

CAUTION:
Do not tighten the ZIF socket lock more than 180 degrees in either direction.
This severely damages the socket and processor, and renders the processor slot unusable.
