RECORDING with VCR Plus+
IMPORTANT: Before you try to record with VCR
Plus+ for the first time, be sure you have completed
the channel mapping procedure for your specific
connection.
Programming with VCR Plus+
_])Turn on the TV and VCR. Turn the TV to the
"VCR Channel" (3,4, or video input) so you can
see the program menu on the "IV screen. Make
sure the VCR's clock is set to the correct time
and date as described on page 28.
OPress the VCR Plus+ button on the remote
control to display the VCR Plus+ PROGRAM
menu.
NOTE: If all timer programs are full, FULLY
PROGRAMMED will appear on the TV screen.
_) Press number button "1", "2", or "3" to choose
which type of program you want to record. The
VCR will then display the record speed
information on the TV screen.

_) Enter the PlusCode number from the TV Guide,
newspaper, etc. for the program you want to
record.
NOTE: if you enter an incorrect number,
repeatedly press the CLEAR button on the
remote control to erase it, and then enter the
correct number.
_)After entering the Plus Code, press the DISPLAY
button to enter your program into memory.
NOTE: If you enter a code number that your VCR
does not recognize, it will display this message
on the TV screen: PLEASE CHECK NUMBER. If
this message appears, check the number and
enter it again.
If a valid number has been entered the following
display will appear.

(_ If you want to change the tape speed, press the
1,2, or 3 button on the remote control. The VCR
will then display the program review mode on the
TV screen for confirmation. If you want to erase
the program, press the CLEAR button on the
remote control.

OPress the VCR Plus+ button when you are
finished.
(_ Turn off the VCR before the recording is to begin.
IMPORTANT: If you are recording a channel
which requires use of a cable box, remember to
tune the cable box to the desired channel and
leave the cable box turned on some time before
the recording is scheduled to start.
