Setting Your Local Area Code
i. Pressand releasethe MENUbutton.Thescreen displaysLOCAL AREACODE. The
unit announces,"Setupmenu. UseSKIPor REPEAT t o change setting, press MENU
to save setting."
2.The left-most digit, or a (_)sign flashesindicating the unit isready to acceptthe
area code entry.
3. Usethe keypadto enter your three digit Local Area Code.
/4.After the 3rd and last digit are entered,pressthe MENUbutton to store the area
code and go to the next setting.
NOTE:If you make a mistake, you can use the SKIPor REPEAT
button to move between 1st to 3rd digit and input the number from
the keypad again.
NOTE: To skip to the next setting, press the MENU button. To exit setup,
press the FLASH/E×IT button.
