Setting the Disploy Controst
Thissetting allows you to adjust the displaycontrast for easierreadability.
1. If you recentlyadjusted the LocalAreaCodemenu, skip to Step2. If you haven't
adjusted any other setting, pressand releasethe MENUbutton until the screen
displaysSETCONTRAST.
2. Usethe SKIPor REPEAT b utton to selectthe desiredsetting (1-5).
3. Whenfinished,pressthe MENUbutton to confirm and go to the next setting.
NOTE:To skip to the next setting, press the MENU button. To exit setup,
press the FLASH/EXITbutton.
Setting the Time ond Dote
NOTE:If you hove subscribed to the Coller ID disploy feoture from
your telephone compony, the telephone compony sends the time
ond dote with the Coller ID informotion. The unit outomoticolly sets
the time ond dote when the first coil is received.
Hour
1. If you just adjusted the DisplayContrast menu, skip to Step2. If you haven't
adjusted any other setting, pressand releasethe MENUbutton until the screen
displaysSETTIlE/DATE.
2. Thehour digits flashing indicatesthat the unit is readyto accept entry. Usethe
keypad numbersto enter a two digit number to set the hour.
3. Whenfinished,the cursor movesto the Minutefield. Now you're readyto enter the
minutes.
Minutes
1. Usethe keypad numbersto enter a two digit number to set the minutes.
2. When finished, the cursor moves to the AN or PH field. Now you're ready to
enter the time of day, AM or Ptff.
