No dial tone
• Verifythe telephone line cord is connectedto the baseand walljack.
• Checkthe hookswitch to make sure it popsup.
Won't dial out
• Makesurethe tone/pulse setting is programmed correctly.
Phonedoesn't ring
• Checkthe ringer volume.
• Couldhavetoo many phoneson one line.(SeeFCCregistrationinformation
regarding REN)
Low handset or speakerphonevolume
• Checkthe volume settings.
Can't be heard by other party
• Makesurethe phonecord issecurelyplugged in.
• Makesurethe MUTE function is OFF.
Memorydialing
• Makesureyou enteredthe numbers correctly.(See"Memory.")
Answerer Solutions
Doesn'tanswer,or answerson lOth ring
• Makesurethe answerer isturned on.
• Memoryis full, erasesome messages.
• Checkthe ACpower and phone line connections.
Incomingmessagesare incomplete
• Was an extensionphone picked up?
• Thecaller left a messagethat is longerthan the messagelengthyou set during
setup.
