Requirements
In addition to the requirements specified in the Sentriant AG Installation Guide, you must have,
configure, or note the following when setting up your network for Sentriant AG:
Software and test updates requirements:
Public DNS server must resolve to update server

Port 80 opened for product upgrades
●
Port 25 open for support packages
●
Port 443 access for update server, or authenticated proxy support using basic HTTPS authentication
●
Port 1500 open for agent-based and ActiveX testing
●
Valid license key
●
End-users must allow Sentriant AG certain access (depending on the test method) in order to be
●
tested. These settings are described in "End-user Access" on page 153.
Tests:
NOTE
Not all anti-virus and anti-spyware tests check for signature file updates. Some anti-virus and anti-spyware products
do not lend themselves to be tested for signature file updates.
NOTE
Sentriant AG has the capability to have custom tests created in Python; however, Extreme Networks takes no
responsibility for custom scripts.
Self Remediation:
Messenger service needs to be running on the end-user endpoint.

End-user access screens must be populated and communicate action steps to the end-user.
