Video Card Removal Procedure
Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery

Heat Sink Screw Removal
and Insertion
Remove the screws from the heat
sink in the reverse order: 6-5-4-3-
2-1 (the numbers 1 - 6 are imprin-
ted on the heat sink itself).
When tightening the screws, make
sure that they are tightened in the
right order (1 - 6).

a. Remove the fan screws

and fan cables.
b. Remove the fan units.
c. Remove the heat sink
screws in the reverse
order as indicated on
the label.
Caution
The heat sink, and video
card area in general,
contains parts which are
subject to high tempera-
tures. Allow the area
time to cool before re-
moving these parts.
