The first thing you need to do is connect
the antenna
or cable.
Because
there are at least; four different
types of antennas,
this
chapter
will show how to connect all of them. You don't need to
make all the connections.
First, find out what kind of _mtenna
you
have. Then, make the connection
for that type of anter.ma.
You
can then go straight
to the next section,
=Connecting
the Televi-
sion."
This section
shows you:
• Connecting
cable antennas,
• Connecting
other
antennas,
and
• Connecting
separate
UHF/VHF
antennas.
Connecting cableantennas
If you have cable TV, this is the only az_t_nna you nee(] to hook
up. Because
some cable companies
require
a cable box (for un-
scrambling
cable signals),
there are two t'Snds of cable connec-
tions shown: with and wi;hout
a cable box.

comes out of the floor or out

Connect
the cable to the ANTENNA

on the back
of your VCR. Screw or push the cabl_ onto the terminal
until
it is tight.
