Video/Audio Scart lead
Link both VCR's by using a Scart lead as shown in the diagram. Connect the EURO AV2 IN of recorder @ to the
EURO AV socket or to RCA AUDIO/VIDEO OUT sockets of recorder ®. If the second VCR ® has no Scart socket
but has an RCA AUDIO/VIDEO output then use a corresponding adapter cable. In this example your Mitsubishi VCR
@ is being used as the recording device.

Onthe remote control press the JOG G button un-
til the external channel L2 (EURO AV2 IN) shows
on the Mitsubishi VCR ©.

Start playing on the other VCR ©, then press the
REC button on the Mitsubishi VCR @.
An external channel must not be selected on

the playback VCR (®) especially when the
recording VCR (@) is connected via a Scart cable.
Alternatively you can connect your new VCR up to
record from other equipment:
-A satellite receiver
-Video camera
Connect your new VCR to a Satellite receiver or Video
camera by using a scart cable or a scart to phono cable.

Tip:
If you want to have a permanent
connection between two VCR's, itis best
to use a Scart cable.

Editing control
This feature is ideal for editing commercials
while
recording.
During recording, press the PAUSE button.
By using the SHUTTLE &3 or @ buttons, position the
tape at the beginning of the commercial.
Press the
PAUSE button when the picture you wish to start recording
is located.
After approximately 3 seconds, the screen
will return to the picture you wish to record and record
pause mode will be resumed.
Press the PAUSE button
when
the commercials
are finished
to commence
recording.
