You can specify settings related to the printing quality of the printer.

6-50 Driver Print Settings
Select "On" to restrict toner consumption.
Select the printing resolution.
You can select the following resolutions.
300 × 300 dpi / 600 × 600 dpi
Set the print density level (between -50 and 50).
The following setting methods are available.
• Manually entering a value in the entry box.
• Moving the slide bar to the left or right to adjust the value. The value in
the entry box automatically changes when you move the slide bar.
• The density level decreases each time you click [Lighten]. The density
level increases each time you click [Darken]. Click [Initialize] to restore
the default density level.
Select the print processing method when using TrueType fonts.
• If you select "Auto", fonts not included in the machine will be downloaded
from the computer for printing. (Printing is faster.)
• If you select "Outline", all the TrueType fonts are downloaded to the
machine for printing. (Printing may be slower.)
• If you select "Bitmap", all the TrueType fonts are sent to the machine as
bitmap images. Select this when the print result is not the same as what
is displayed on the screen. (Printing is slower.)
