Replacing the DVD-ROM Module

Removing the DVD-ROM Module
1) Turn off the computer.
2) Turn the computer over.
3) Locate the DVD/FDD cover
4) Unscrew and remove the cover.
5) Remove the single screw which holds the DVD-ROM in the
computer .
6) Locate the cable tab and gently pull the cable tab upward to
disconnect the DVD-ROM from the computer mainboard
.
7) Grasp the DVD-ROM tab
and gently PULL the
DVD-ROM out of the
computer .
Inserting the DVD-ROM module
Refer to removing the DVD-ROM and follow the instructions in
reverse order.
