Diagnostic Test 6 – Sensors
This test verifies that the autoloader sensors are functioning correctly. The
autoloader sensors include:
•
Output tray sensor in each output tray (5300N only).
•
Output bin sensor.
•
Disc present sensor located inside the lift arm.
•
Lift home sensor located inside the lift arm.
•
Door open sensor located on the front of the front of the 5100N/5300N
frame.
•
Output bin present sensor located in the frame (5300N only).

Note: A beep sounds each time the status of a sensor changes.
Access and Start the Sensor Tests
Before you begin, make sure that the autoloader is in diagnostic test mode. Refer
to Access and Select Diagnostic Tests
Press the operator button six times and hold it in on the sixth press until the

operator panel displays [SENSOR TEST BEEP ON CHANGE].
2. Release the operator button.
Output Tray Sensor Diagnostic Tests (5300N Only)
This tests the tray sensor (optical reflective sensor) located in each of the output
trays.
1. Place a disc in output tray 1. The sensor beeps and operator panel displays
[0] to show the change in status.
2. Remove the disc from output tray 1 The sensor beeps and operator panel
displays [1] to show the change in status.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each output tray.
4. To exit the test now, press and hold the operator button until the operator
panel displays [EXITING TEST RELEASE BUTTON].
