Replace the Bin Present Sensor or the Bin Full Sensor on a Rimage
5300N
Use this procedure to replace the bin present sensor or the bin full sensor on a Rimage 5300N™.
The procedures in this document should be performed only by personnel trained and authorized by Rimage. The instructions and
content are written for mechanical and electrical service work assuming the technician has such training and authorization. The
product warranty may become void if equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in any respect without
the written consent of Rimage or by technicians who are not authorized or certified by Rimage.

Before you begin

1. Stop or pause all jobs.
2. Power off the embedded control center.
3. Power off the 5300N.
4. Disconnect the power cord.
Access the sensors
1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the nuts (Qty. 2) securing the sensor bracket.
3. Remove the sensor bracket and sensors.
4. Disconnect the sensor cables (Qty. 2) from the sensors.
Caution! Some cables in this system are latched.
Equipment damage may occur if cables are not
disconnected appropriately.
