PLACING YOUR DOCUMENT ON THE SCANNER GLASS

Open the top cover.

Position the original document or photo to be scanned face down on the scanner glass, aligned with
the upper left corner. Close the top cover.
Placing a Bulky Document on the Exposure Bed

To copy a bulky document, such as a book, release the cover from its runners by pressing its securing
fixtures and slide it off.

CHAPTER 1
Description
•
Enabled when the printer is connected to a computer.
•
Press this button to scan the document or photo placed on
the exposure bed.
See "Scanning from the Front Panel". A Toolbox window is
displayed allowing you to send the image directly to an
application of your choice, or to personalise scan settings.
•
Allows you to cancel immediately an on-going print or copy
operation, causing ejection of the paper.
•
Restores selections to the factory settings (default values).
Use to switch the printer On and Off.
When the printer is ON, the button illuminates, flashing during
printing phases. If an error occurs, for example paper or cartridge
out, the button flashes.
