4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the Optical Drive
The following describes the procedure for installing the optical drive (See Figure 4-22, 4-23).
1. Install the side bracket on the CD-ROM drive and fix it with the following screw.
• M2x3 SUPER THIN BIND screw x1
2. Place the CD-ROM holder on the CD-ROM drive and fix it with the following screws.
• M2x17
3. Insert the CD-ROM drive assembly into the slot to connect it to PJ1800 on the system
board.
4. Turn the computer face down and fix the CD-ROM drive assembly with the
following screw.
• M2.5x5
