When to Reconfigure the
Workstation
System configuration is the process of specifying the devices and programs that
make up a system. When you add or remove optional devices, you must
reconfigure the workstation by running Computer Setup in order for the
changes to be recognized.
Run the Computer Setup utility after you complete the installation. To
configure in Windows NT, use Control Panel and configure your specific
option.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot
surfaces, allow the internal system components to cool before
touching.
CAUTION: Static electricity can damage the electronic
components of the workstation or optional equipment. Before
beginning these procedures, ensure that you are discharged of
static electricity by briefly touching a grounded metal object. See
Appendix B for more information.
