In the Assign Drive Letter dialog box, select a drive letter.
To avoid confusion later on choose sequential drive letters.

From the NT Disk Administrator's Tools menu, choose Format and, in the space provided, provide a
Volume Label for the drive.
Choosing a descriptive label such as "Shared Drive F" will be helpful later when you need to match drive
letter assignments at System B.
5.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each disk to be shared in the cluster.
At this point, you have completed disk configuration. Before continuing, you need to check System B to be
sure that its array configuration matches System A's. To do this, you need to shut down System A (but leave it
powered on):
To shut down System A:
1.
From the Windows NT Start Menu, click Shut Down.
Windows displays its Shut Down dialog box.
2.
From the Windows Shut Down dialog box, choose Shut Down the Computer.
Windows displays the Shutdown Computer prompt (with the option to Restart).
3.
Leave the prompt displayed and the computer powered on at this point.
The computer is powered on but idle. Proceed to "Confirming the Arrays on System B."
