Control Connections - RS-232
Use the SERIAL PORTS when a computer or third-party RS-232 controller will be
used to control the V883. When using ELAN devices like the VIA!2-SS1, VIA!SC-4, or
VIA! Touch Panels, it is best to use VIA!NET to control the V883.

controlling multiple units using RS-232 serial communications.
