Let's recording

Recording on MD

MD recording is possible as "digital recording", where the digital signal of the CD is used as it is, and as "analog recording",
where the analog signal of a broadcast etc. is converted to a digital signal.
In the direction of the arrow
Select an input source other than "MD".

1. Make the preparations for recording.
1 Open the write protect tab of the
Mini Disc to make it recordable.
2 Load the Mini Disc.
2. Select the source to be recorded.
Each press switches the modes as follows.
1 TUNER (Broadcasts) : Only analog re-
2 CD : Digital or analog recording
3 MD : Recording is not possible
4 TAPE : Only analog recording
INPUT
5 AUX (tape etc.) : Only analog recording
SELECT
6 DIGITAL IN (Optical input)
For CD analog recording, refer to
"How to use the REC INPUT SE-
LECT key".
This unit cannot record audio in monaural mode.
