Closed defect summary
On an HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director Switch Multiprotocol Exten-
sion Blade or 1606 Extension Switch, the portdisable xge0 CLI
command does not disable the port, even though the RAS log and
switchshow list it as disabled.
FICON emulation mode fails when trying to vary paths online to exten-
ded DASD devices with MVS IOS444I error messages.
In a fabric with more than 50 switches, non-disruptive firmware
downloads (HCL) on an HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director fails on
the standby CP.
Excessive internal messages cause a RASLOG flood condition and a
weblinkerfcg message appears on FCIP switches in the fabric (HP
StorageWorks 1606 Extension SAN Switch and Multiprotocol Extension
Blade). This can lead to other important RASLOG messages being lost.
This condition occurs with IPSEC, which is not supported in this release.
HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director panicks and reboots after
anfwshow --disable --port command is issued.
SMI fails to discover all switches over EX_Port after an hafailover,
and reports LOGIN FAILED after the GPL2 query targeted to the
translate domain is rejected.
After upgrading from Fabric OS 6.2.0g to 6.3.0, LDAP certificates
are missing and you may not be able to log in to the switch using LDAP
authentication. The degree to which the user is locked out depends on
how the LDAP environment was set up.
After an HCL firmware upgrade, device connectivity is lost when the
zone is enabled on an HP StorageWorks 1606 Extension SAN Switch.
When a switch running Fabric OS 5.2.x sends an internal query to
directors that were not properly set up to handle switches with more
than 256 ports, a segmentation fault causes a CALD panic in the fabric.
When performing Power On Reset (POR) on an HP StorageWorks DC
SAN Director in a FICON environment, a kernel panic causes the
switch to crash and reboot.
An HP Storageworks 1606 SAN Extension Switch crashes after con-
necting FCIP ports to a test device that performs various perturba-
tions/error injection on the port.
A strict fabric-wide policy conflict occurs on dual CP switches (directors)
after an HA failover, leading to switch segmentation.
In a FICON environment, block port is not displayed in the IPL file
after host blocks port in-band, due to IPL file not being updated.
In a FICON environment, RLIR of DRLIR in an interopmode 2 fabric
does not contain a domain offset of 0x60 in PID and TAG fields.
