Closed defect summary
When an unsupported SFP is installed in an HP StorageWorks DC
SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade, the amber LED flashes to
indicate a fault, as it should. However, if an optical cable is plugged
into the SFP, the amber LED extinguishes. The actual port status is un-
changed.
When Lossless DLS is enabled, WebTools incorrectly shows iodset
off, but the CLI shows that it is enabled.
In a rare case, a buffer leak in the rekey daemon causes an HP Stor-
ageWorks Encryption SAN Switch fault during rekey. A power cycle
is required to recover.
HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch does not rejoin Encryption
Group after a reboot, resulting in a split Encryption Group.
Incorrect port shows I/O traffic on 2408 FCoE Switches and 10/24
FCoE Blades.
When launched from DCFM, WebTools fails with a license error.
The host cannot recover if a back-end tape target becomes unrespons-
ive during encryption switch-initiated commands.
With an HP StorageWorks 1606 SAN Extension Switch and an Mul-
tiprotocol Extension Blade, smart data for GE-type ports (such as SFP
temperature and power) are not updated in sfpshow by the automatic
polling loop.
The supportsave command does not capture information for FIDs
with index >3.
On an 8 Gb switch in Access Gateway mode connected to another
switch running Fabric OS 6.2.x or earlier, links on the Access Gateway
device enter a disabled state and report NPIV not supported by
Fabric port, even though the edge switch port has NPIV enabled.
With either the 2408 FCoE Switch or the 10/24 FCoE Blade, when
selecting FCoE Login in the Element Manager under switch admin,
the error message FCoE Login Management is disabled in
the switch, make sure you enabled it to view the
chassis appears.
