Manually polling another fax to receive
your document
Follow this procedure to poll another fax and receive
its document.
Pick up the handset.
Dial the facsimile number.
.You can dial the number manually with the numeric keys,
a One-touch key, or Coded speed dialing.
After dialing if you hear a tone, press
{S-TT-ilr/rc-e6p-Yl
and hang up the handset.
. The fax begins polling the other unit. Sending will statt
from the remote fax only il il is set up for polling and if its
polling lD matches your polling ID.
.Yourfax beeps once to tell you the document has been
received without errot.
. The fax automatically redials if the unit does not answer or
if the line is busy.
To stop polling before completion, press
[-s-roF-l and return to standbY.
