Configuring Your Managed System
Description
Specifies the managed system hostname used to
correlate Platform Event Traps to the system on which
they originate.
Use alpha-numerics, but no symbols (except '-') or
spaces.
NOTE:
This option is available only on systems with a
DRAC installed.
Enables or disables the NIC
Enables or disables Auto-Negotiation of the LAN Speed.
This field is read-only when Auto-Negotiate is set
to Enabled.
Set the LAN Speed Setting to 10 or 100 Mbps
This field is read-only when Auto-Negotiate is set
to Enabled.
Sets the LAN communication method to Half or Full
Duplex.
on = IP addresses of the DNS Servers are assigned by
the DHCP
off = IP addresses of the DNS Servers are set manually
This field is read-only when DNS Servers from
DHCP is set to on.
Enter the IP Address of DNS Server 1
The following IPv4 rules apply:
• IP addresses cannot be 127.xxx.xxx.xxx, where xxx is
between 0-255.
• The first octet must be between 1-223 (i.e.
143.xxx.xxx.xxx)
• The last octet must not be 0 or 255
(i.e. xxx.xxx.xxx.0 or xxx.xxx.xxx.255)
