To connect the SCSI and power cables to the tape drive, follow these
steps:
Shut down the operating system and power down the server or

workstation.
Power off all peripheral devices, such as printers and other SCSI

devices.
Caution:
Obtain a SCSI cable with an open 68-pin, high-density connector.

Connect one end of the SCSI cable to one of the connectors on the rear

panel of the tape drive as shown in
