Replacing a System Fan (SR1530HSH)
Caution: The fans are NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing a fan, you must first take
the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the system, turn off
the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power cord from the system
or wall outlet.
Note: You cannot replace the fans into the power supply separately. If one of the fans in the
power supply fails, you must replace the power supply.
If one of the blower fans fails, you can individually replace them. If a fan in the power
supply fails, you must replace the power supply. Use the following steps to replace a
system blower fan or the PCI cooling fan.
