Accessing OmniPage in Direct Input Mode

The page number button is
disabled in Direct Input mode.
1 Align your document(s) in your scanner or ADF if you plan to
scan.
2 Open or switch to any registered application.
Microsoft Word is used in this example.
3 Choose Direct Input... in the program's File menu.
• OmniPage launches in Direct Input mode if it was closed.
• OmniPage switches to Direct Input mode if it was already open
or was running as a desktop icon.
If a document is open in OmniPage at the time, a dialog box
prompts you to close and save the OmniPage document before
starting Direct Input.
The Direct Input window appears.

Automatic processing begins immediately if you had selected
Click the AUTO button on launch in the Direct Input settings panel
before initiating Direct Input.
