• Select Match Whole Word Only to find only the words that exactly
match the length of the search word. Compound words that
contain the search word within them will not be found. For
example, if you select this option and search for light, OmniPage
will not flag lightbulb.
• Select Match Case to find only the words that exactly match the
upper- and lower-case attributes of the search word. For
example, if you select this option and search for light, OmniPage
will not flag Light.
3 Click Find Next.
The first occurrence of the word is highlighted.
4 To continue searching, click Find Next again.
5 Click Cancel to close the dialog box when you are done.
Replacing a Word
1 Type the word or set of characters that you want to replace in the
Find What edit box.
2 Type the desired replacement word in the Replace With edit box.
3 Select specific search options if desired.
• Select Match Whole Word Only to find only the words that exactly
match the length of the search word. Compound words that
contain the search word within them will not be found. For
example, if you select this option and search for light, OmniPage
will not replace lightbulb.
• Select Match Case to find only the words that exactly match the
upper- and lower-case attributes of the search word. For
example, if you select this option and search for light, OmniPage
will not replace Light.
4 Click Find Next.
The first occurrence of the word is highlighted.
5 Click Replace to insert the replacement word.
OmniPage automatically looks for the next occurrence of the
search word.
You can click Replace All to replace all instances of a word.
6 Click Cancel to close the dialog box when you are done.
