The STRM F5 Networks BigIP DSM collects events from a BigIP load balancer
using syslog. For details on configuring remote syslog with the BigIP switch,
please consult the vendor documentation.
Once you configure syslog to forward events to STRM, you are now ready to
configure the sensor device within the STRM interface. To configure STRM to
receive events from a F5 Network BigIP device, you must select the F5 Networks
BigIP option from the Sensor Device Type drop-down list box. For more
information on configuring sensor devices, see the Managing Sensor Devices
Guide.
