Starting with JUNOS Release 9.0, all routing platforms require a minimum of 512 MB
of system memory on each Routing Engine. All M7i and M10i routers delivered before
December 7, 2007, had 256 MB of memory. These routers require a system memory
upgrade before you install JUNOS Release 9.0. To determine the amount of memory
currently installed on your system, use the
