Making copies on envelopes

As an example, this section describes procedures for loading envelopes into the Bypass Tray and copying
the original on them.
Tips
-
Measure the size of originals or paper of custom size before loading them. It will be convenient to use
the Original Scale.

Load the original.
% For details on how to load the original, refer to page 3-11.

Adjust the guide of the Bypass Tray, and load envelopes.
% Load the envelopes with the flap side up as shown in the illustration, so that the side on which you
want to copy the original is facing down.
% When loading envelopes, expel air from the envelopes, then hold the folds of the envelopes.
% Up to 10 envelopes can be loaded into the Bypass Tray. Do not load the envelopes up to the point
where the top of the stack is higher than the + mark.
% For details on how to enter the size, refer to page 4-16.
A screen for paper setup appears.

Use +, to select [TYPE], then press ).

Use +, to select [ENVELOPE], then press OK.

Press Back to return to the basic screen.

Configure other desired settings.
