Anschlußmöglichkeiten
Schraubklemmen: Für die Verbindung mit
den Lautsprecher Ausgängen Ihres
Verstärkers ist der Canton Aktiv Subwoofer
mit zwei mit HIGH LEVEL INPUT gekenn-
zeichneten Schraubklemmenpaaren
ausgestattet (Abb. 12). Bitte beachten Sie
beim Anschluss die richtige Belegung der
Kanäle links und rechts und die Polarität der
Klemmen (rot = plus / schwarz = minus).
Wird die Polarität vertauscht kommt es zu
einem unnatürlichen und bassschwachen
Klangbild.
Ist Ihr Canton Subwoofer zusätzlich mit
zwei HIGH LEVEL OUTPUT gekennzeich-
neten Schraubklemmenpaaren ausgestat-
tet (Abb. 13), können hier im Stereo-
Betrieb die Front (Main) Lautsprecher Ihrer
Anlage angeschlossen werden. Bitte
beachten Sie, dass diese Ausgänge nicht
gefiltert sind und nur ein Signal anliegt,
wenn auch die mit HIGH LEVEL INPUT
gekennzeichneten Schraubklemmen belegt
sind.
Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass die
abisolierten Enden der Lautsprecherkabel
keinen Kurzschluss verursachen. Sowohl
der Subwoofer als auch Ihr Steuergerät
könnten dadurch beschädigt werden.
Getting connected
Screw terminals: For connections to the
loudspeaker outputs on your amplifier, the
Canton active subwoofer is fitted with two sets
of screw terminals marked HIG LEVEL INPUT
(fig. 12). When connecting, please note the
correct layout of the left and right ports and the
polarity of the terminals (red = plus / black =
minus). If the polarity is accidentally reversed, the
sound from the subwoofer will be unnatural with
poor bass.
If your Canton subwoofer is fitted with an
additional two pairs of screw terminals marked
HIGH LEVEL OUTPUT (fig. 13), the front
(main) loudspeakers of your system can be
connected in stereo. Please note that these
outputs are not filtered and a signal will only
work when the HIGH LEVEL INPUT screw
terminals are also engaged.
Please ensure that the stripped ends of the
loudspeaker cables do not cause a short circuit
as this could damage the subwoofer and your
control unit.
