Einstellungen am Subwoofer
Crossover: Dieser Regler dient der Einstellung der
oberen Grenzfrequenz, die von Ihrem Subwoofer
wiedergegeben wird (Abb. 14). Alle Frequenzen über
dem eingestellten Wert werden mit 12 bzw. 24 dB/
Oktave abgeschnitten (High Cut) und nicht wiederge-
geben. Der Wert richtet sich in erster Linie nach der
unteren Grenzfrequenz der anderen Lautsprecher Ihrer
Anlage.
Volume: Mit dem Steller für Volume verändern Sie
die Lautstärke Ihres Subwoofers und damit die
Intensität der Tiefbasswiedergabe (Abb. 15). Ein
Drehen nach rechts bedeutet eine Lautstärke-
erhöhung, ein drehen nach links eine Verringerung
der Lautstärke. Passen Sie mit Hilfe des Volume-
Reglers den Canton Subwoofer von der Lautstärke
her an die anderen Lautsprecher Ihrer Anlage an.
Phase: Mit dem Phasensteller (Abb. 16) (Amp 2
und 3) kann die Wiedergabe des Subwoofers an
die verwendeten Lautsprecher und an die
räumlichen Bedingungen angepasst werden.
Wählen Sie die Reglerstellung, die eine bestmögli-
che Tonwiedergabe ergibt.
Hinweis: Bei der Erstinstallation sollten die Regler
„Crossover" auf 120 Hz und „Volume" auf 0 dB
(beim Belegen beider „LOW LEVEL INPUTs"
auf -6dB) eingestellt werden. Dies erleichtert die
individuelle Anpassung des Subwoofers an Ihr
Anlage.

Subwoofer settings

Crossover: This control relates to the upper cut-off
frequency reproduced by your subwoofer (fig. 14).
All frequencies above the set level will be cut off by
12 or 24 dB/octave (high cut) and not reproduced.
The level is primarily based on the lower cut-off
frequency of the other loudspeaker in your system.
Volume: The volume control allows you to change
the volume of your subwoofer and therefore the
intensity of the low bass reproduction (fig. 15).
Turning to the right increases the volume and
turning to the left reduces the volume. Use the
volume control to customise the volume of the
Canton subwoofer to match the other loudspeakers
in your system.
Phase: The phase control (fig. 16) (Amp 2 and 3)
can adjust the sound from the subwoofer to match
loudspeakers and the conditions within the actual
room. Choose the control setting which gives the
best possible sound reproduction.
Tip: During initial installation, the "Crossover"
control should be set to 120 Hz and "Volume" to
0 dB (when using both „LOW LEVEL INPUTs" set
to -6dB). This makes it easier to match the
subwoofer to your system.
