A.3 Reset to Factory Default (JP12)
The EcoLAN 1000Emay be restored to factory default conditions by jumper (JP12).
The function of JP12 is to reconfigure NVRAM. This is done when a unit is moved
from one site to another and should be restored to as "as-new" condition.
If the unit is powered up with a jumper in the ON position, the board will go into a
"reset all parameters to Factory Default" state. This will be indicated by the three
quick green flashes followed by the flashing green indications. This indicator
sequence means that the NVRAM parameters have been reset to factory default
values. Now turn off power and shift the jumper to the OFF pins. The unit will
operate normally when you turn the power on again.
A.4 Non-Persistant IP (JP8)
If JP8 is in the ON position, the print server card will not use the stored IP address, but will
search for an IP address assignment from a server on the network each time it is powered
up. If JP8 is in the OFF position, the print server card will store any assigned IP address in
NVRAM and will use this address each time it is powered up.
