Click Start menu, Computer.

In the tool bar, click Map Network Drive.

Mapping drives usually defaults to the letter Z:, but you can select another

drive letter by following the next two steps:
In the Folder box, browse to your shared folder or type the Uniform

Naming Convention (UNC).
For example: enter \\HPMediaVault\Documents (HPMediaVault is the
device name; Documents is the name of the shared folder.)
Check Reconnect at logon.

Click Finish.

Browsing Folders

There are several ways to browse folders on the HP Media Vault. This section
describes the following options.
To browse folders from the Control Center
To use My Network Places in Windows XP to browse
To use Network in Windows Vista to browse
To use network addressing to browse
To use Windows Explorer to browse
To use Windows Vista Explorer to browse
To browse folders from the Control Center
At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and

then Control Center.
On the Status tab, click one of the following icons.

Server—click to browse all shared folders on the HP Media Vault
Documents—click to browse the Documents folder
Photos—click to browse the Photos folder
Music—click to browse the Music folder
Videos—click to browse the Videos folder
A browser window opens showing you a list of your shared folders.
