Full Access - The user can open, change, and create files and sub-
folders.
Read Only - The user can open files or folders but they cannot
create, rename, or change them.
None - The user cannot see the folder or access it in any way.
Click Save.

Deleting a User

Users must have an account to access private shared folders or to access
Photo Webshare as a visitor or Photo Webshare Manager. Once a user is
deleted, they lose these permissions.
To delete a user
At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and

then Control Center.
On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault.

You are prompted for an administrator name and password if you set one
up. For additional information, see
On the Users tab, locate the user you want to delete.

Click Delete.

Type the user name in the dialog to confirm the deletion and click OK.

If the dialog does not display, check to see if your browser pop-up blocker
is on.

Changing a Password

Users require individual passwords to access private shared folders. Media
Vault administrators can change user passwords if the user forgets the
password or if the password is no longer secure.
To change a password
At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and

On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault.
