BEFORE BEGINNING
Read the instructions at least once, familiarizing yourself with the
parts before beginning. This Fence bolts directly to existing holes in the
14" Delta, Jet, Ridgid, Powermatic (without extension table) & Porter
Cable band saws. The table must not be over about 16" square. The front
& back table edges must be square to the table top, parallel to each other
and have pre-tapped holes. For assembly, you'll need a 7/16" wrench and
a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
The Band Saw Fence may be able to be adapted to fit other band
saws by drilling four holes in the front and rear Brackets (7280D) to
match the mounting holes in your band saw, and/or in the band saw table
edge. Make sure there are no ribs under the table to interfere.

  • Page 4 The Ultra Track fence can be rotated up to 10 degrees left or right to compensate for your blades lead angle. To determine your blades lead angle, draw a line parallel to the straight long edge of an 18-24” long board, 1-2” in from the edge. Without using the fence, begin cutting by following the line of the board, which will automatically determine the lead angle for that blade. Stop cutting about halfway along the length of the board, hold (or clamp) the board in position and stop the saw. Slightly loosen the Ratchet Handles holding the Guides to the tracks, plus the 3/4” bolts holding the Angle Brackets to the Guides. Butt the Ultra Track fence against the edge of the board to set the fence to match your blades lead angle. Retighten the Ratchet Handles first, then retighten the 3/4” bolts. USING THE FENCE OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES Loosen the two Ratchet Handles holding the Guides Longer lengths of Double Track (for the to the Double Tracks to position the fence left or right. By loosening the two knobs holding the Ultra Track fence to the Angle Brackets, you can reposition it front-to-back as needed.
