8.2.2 Placing a document on the document glass
When using this method, you open the document cover, place originals on
the document glass one page at a time, and then perform the copy operation,
as follows:
(1) Open the document cover.
(2) Place an original on the document glass with the copy side facing down.
Align the original so that its top part (when you are facing the front of the
machine) is positioned at the left side of the document glass, aligned to the
back.

For transparency sheet, tracing paper or other paper with high transparency,
place a white sheet of paper over the document.
