1.3 Setting up PostScript and/or PCL printing with Windows NT 4.0
1.3.1

Installing the PostScript or PCL printer driver

To complete the installation if PostScript files are needed:
If this is the first PostScript printer on your system:
Eject the User Software CD and insert the Windows NT Installation
CD.
In the text field, type the name of the CD-ROM drive (for example,
D:\), and click Browse.
Browse to the i386 (the directory containing the PostScript driver).
If you have already installed a PostScript printer on your system:
In the text field, type the name of the hard drive (for example, C:\),
and click Browse.
Browse to winnt40\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32x86 (the directory
containing the PostScript driver)
Click OK, and then click OK in the Files Needed dialog box.
When installation is complete, the Printers window appears with an icon
for the newly installed printer.

Specifying installed devices

When the printer driver is installed, you will need to specify the optional
devices installed on your printer to enable use of options relating to those
devices.

To specify options installed on the DocuColor 4 LP/CP (PostScript
Driver):
Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then choose Printers.
Click the Xerox DocuColor 4 LP/CP PS printer icon, and choose
Properties from the File menu.
