RECORDING PROGRAMS
In order to record your own patches into the program memory you have to ENABLE the record
function. To do this, press PREFIX BUTTON C (3.6), hit 8, and hit ENTER. This will display the
status of the instrument. The Alphanumeric Display will read "DISABLED" or "ENABLED."
Now you must enter a four-digit security code (when each instrument is shipped, the code is 0000).
If you enter the wrong code, the display reads "BAD CODE" and returns to normal operation.
If you enter the correct code, the instrument shows the updated status (ENABLED or DISABLED)
and returns to normal operation. To change the code, hit C, hit 8, hit ENTER, then hit C again; the
instrument assumes you want to change the security code and displays "OLD CODE." You enter
the existing code; if the code is incorrect the display reads "BAD CODE," and operation returns
to normal. If the code is correct, the display reads "NEW CODE," and you enter any new four-
digit code number, followed by ENTER. A convenient code number is the last four digits of your
telephone number.
