Connecting/removing attachments
(14/15/16/17/18) (Fig. 2)
• Select the appropriate attachment (14/15/16/17/18) for
the work to be carried out.
• To use the turbo nozzle (14), variable nozzle (15) or
the patio cleaner (18), attach the lance (4) to the spray
gun (2) as described in 9.2.
• To use the Kärcher adapter (16) and the washing
brush (17), remove the lance (4) from the spray gun
(2) as described in 9.2.
• You can store attachments (14/15/16/17/18) that you
are not using in the holder (13).
Connect:
Turbo nozzle (14) / Variable nozzle (15) / Patio cleaner

1. Fit the appropriate attachment (14/15/18) to the lance
(4) and turn the attachment (14/15/18) until you hear it
click into place.
Kärcher adapter (16) / Washing brush (17)
1. Insert the appropriate attachment (16/17) into the
spray gun (2).
2. Press the suitable attachment (16/17) firmly into the
connection of the spray gun (2) and turn the suitable
attachment (16/17) until you hear it click into place.
Remove:
Turbo nozzle (14) / Variable nozzle (15) / Patio cleaner

1. Press the release (4a) at the front end of the lance (4)
and pull the attachment (14/15/18) forwards.
Kärcher adapter (16) / Washing brush (17)
1. Press the attachment (16/17) firmly into the connec-
tion of the spray gun (2) and turn it anti-clockwise.
2. Pull the attachment (16/17) forwards and off.
10 Operation
ATTENTION
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
ATTENTION
Only operate the product in an upright position, never in
a lying position.
DANGER
If the product falls over, switch it off immedi-
ately and disconnect it from the power sup-
ply!
There is a risk of electric shock!
Only now should you return the product to an
upright, standing position.
For your own safety, wait about five minutes
before re-establishing the electrical connec-
tion.
WARNING
Pay attention to the recoil force caused by the emergent
water jet.
Ensure that you have secure footing and hold the spray
gun firmly.
Otherwise, you could injure yourself or others!
WARNING
If there are leaks in the water system, switch off the
product immediately and disconnect the product from
the mains immediately.
There is a danger of electric shock!
Start connecting the water connections again.
Note:
Do not operate the product with a closed water tap. Run-
ning dry will damage the product.
10.1
Use of cleaning agents (Fig. 2)
Note:
Use only cleaning agents that are suitable for use with the
product.
1. To fill the cleaning agent tank (11), pull it out of the
holder on the high-pressure cleaner.
2. Remove the sealing cap with suction hose (11a) from
the cleaning agent tank (11).
3. Fill the cleaning agent tank (11) with suitable cleaning
agent.
4. Fit the cap with suction hose (11a) and put the clean-
ing agent tank (11) back into the holder on the high-
pressure cleaner.
5. Use the washing nozzle (17).
The cleaning agent is drawn in automatically.

Switching the product on/off (Fig.
1)
Switching on
1. Connect a garden hose with quick-release coupling*
to the coupling (12a) on the water connection (12).
2. Plug the mains plug into the socket.
3. Open the water tap fully.
4. Switch the product on with the On/Off switch (7).
Always switch on the product only after you have con-
nected all the water connections and they are leak-
tight.
The motor switches on until the necessary pressure is
built up.
After pressure build-up, the motor switches off.
5. Unlock the trigger (2a) with the trigger interlock (2b).
6. Press the trigger (2a) on the spray gun (2).
The motor starts automatically.
7. By releasing the trigger (2a), the product switches off,
the high pressure in the system is maintained.
Switching off
1. Switch the product off with the On/Off switch (7).
2. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
3. Turn off the water tap.
