BATTERY CHARGING
■ Battery charging
Charging time: Approximately 3 hours with 5 V/2 A input
Power adapter or external battery
(User supplied)
CAUTION:
Slide the lock down.
Pull the cover down.
NOTE:
• The transceiver MUST be turned OFF while charging. Otherwise:
- The battery will not be charged correctly.
- The battery life may be shortened.
• " " is displayed and bars of the battery icon scroll while charging.
L When error is detected, the battery icon blinks and "
• " " is displayed when the battery has been fully charged.
NOTE for charging with a USB cable:
• USB Power Delivery (USB PD) is not supported.
• The charging time may differ, depending on the current. When you use a lower than
2 A output AC adapter or PC, it may take longer to charge, or the battery may not be
charged.
• Before using the AC adapter, thoroughly read its instructions.

• When closing the cover, stand the transceiver up straight.
Otherwise, any water that is on the cover will get into the
transceiver.
• Close up securely when no cable is connected.
• Make sure dust or other material does not adhere to the
rubber seal. Otherwise, waterproof protection may not be
guaranteed.
