System Power Socket
The system power socket is on the rear of the system, as
shown in the preceding figure. Use this socket for
connecting the system unit power cord to the system unit
and to your wall outlet.
Keyboard
An industry-standard, membrane keyboard comes with your
system (see the following figure). The keyboard is
detachable and has adjustable supports. A general
description of the keyboard follows.
Keyboard key functions depend on the operating system or
software application program you use. Check the
documentation that comes with your operating system or
software for function information.
NOTE: Most of the keys have a repeat function.
When you hold down a key, the character or
function repeats until you release the key. You can
set keyboard auto-repeat and delay rates in the
Setup utility (see Chapter 3).
The keyboard's status lamps indicate the status of the Num
(Numeric) Lock, Caps (Capital) Lock, and Scroll Lock
keys.
