Remove the plastic blank panel from the selected slot by

pressing the panel tab and swinging the blank panel out.
Remove the metal slot cover by carefully pressing it

until it breaks away from the chassis. Be careful of
sharp edges!

Slide the device into the slot and secure the device.

Connect the device cables (See "Cabling Storage
Devices").

Replace the front panel (see "Replacing the Front
Panel").

Replace the access cover (see "Replacing the Access
Cover").
